Star Afghanistan wicketkeeper-batter Rahmanullah Gurbaz recently picked his favourite cover drive among the given two options from former Indian skipper and modern-day batting star, Virat Kohli, and former Pakistan skipper Babar Azam. However, it took time for Gurbaz to pick his favourite cover drive among Kohli and Babar.
Apart from this, Gurbaz was also asked about various things, among which he made his choices clear. He went on to opt for T20 cricket over T10 cricket. He also picked former legendary Indian skipper MS Dhoni as a finisher over the young Indian batting sensation Rinku Singh.

Speaking of his recent performances in international cricket, Rahamnullah Gurbaz was recently in action for Afghanistan in the ODI World Cup 2023. He was quite good with the bat but there was also a bit of inconsistency in his performances during the tournament. The 22-year-old scored 280 runs in 9 innings of the 9 matches, he played for Afghanistan, with an average of 31.11, hitting 2 crucial half-centuries, in the winning causes against England and Pakistan.
Notably, Afghanistan impressed everyone with their performances in the prestigious cricket quadrennial. They won 4 out of the 9 matches, they played in the tournament, finishing at the sixth spot in the points table of the tournament.
Now, Afghanistan are set to tour India to play the three-match T20I series against the hosts next year in January. The T20I series will start from Thursday, January 11 with the first T20I of the series at the Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali. The second and Third T20Is of the series will be played at the Holkar Stadium in Indore and M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on January 14 and January 17, respectively.
During this T20I series, both teams will be eyeing strengthening their preparations for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024.
