Former South African skipper and legendary international batter of his time, Faf du Plessis is still active in the franchise cricket leagues across the cricketing world. He has amazed the fans with his brilliant fitness at the age of 39 and batting abilities for his respective sides in the different franchise cricket leagues. 

Recently, a similar video went viral on social media in which Du Plessis can be seen training hard and showing his excellent fitness. The video was posted by the Texas Super Kings, the franchise of the Major League Cricket, an American franchise T20 tournament.

Recently, Faf du Plessis was in the headlines when he was retained by his franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore for the upcoming Indian Premier League 2024. Notably, the 39-year-old Proteas star is active in the Indian Premier League as a skipper for the Royal Challengers Bangalore.

He was one of the star performers for the RCB with the bat and ended up as the second leading run-scorer in the IPL 2023 owing to his brilliant batting performance throughout the entire tournament. He smashed 730 runs in 14 innings of the 14 matches, he played for the red outfits in the tournament, with a commendable average of 56.15, hitting 8 half-centuries, including a highest score of 84.
