Recently, Faf du Plessis was in the headlines when he was retained by his franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore for the upcoming Indian Premier League 2024. Notably, the 39-year-old Proteas star is active in the Indian Premier League as a skipper for the Royal Challengers Bangalore.
He was one of the star performers for the RCB with the bat and ended up as the second leading run-scorer in the IPL 2023 owing to his brilliant batting performance throughout the entire tournament. He smashed 730 runs in 14 innings of the 14 matches, he played for the red outfits in the tournament, with a commendable average of 56.15, hitting 8 half-centuries, including a highest score of 84.
