India is all set to witness the religious fare as the stage is all set for the Ram Mandir ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony tomorrow Monday, January 22 2024 in Ayodhya. In the same line of events, star South Africa cricketer Keshav Maharaj took to his Instagram handle to post a video to wish his community on this auspicious occasion.
“Namaste everyone. I just want to wish my Indian community in South Africa for the inauguration of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya tomorrow. May there be peace, harmony and spiritual enlightenment for all. Jai Shree Ram,” said Keshav Maharaj in a video which is going viral on social media.

Notably, Keshav Maharaj had been in the headlines of social media a couple of days back; it all happened for the song ‘Ram Siya Ram’ which the DJ used to play on the star leg spinner’s entry in the ground to bat. Indian wicketkeeper-batter KL Rahul also asked Maharaj about the song on his entry.
“Something that I put forward to the media lady and requested that song to be played,” Maharaj had said to PTI on being asked about the song in his entry.
“For me, God has been my greatest blessing, giving me guidance and opportunity. So, it's the least that I can do and it also just gets you in your zone. It's a nice feeling walking out (into the ground) to hear 'Ram Siya Ram' playing in the background,” he added later.
Maharaj was in action for South Africa in the home white-ball and Test series against India; the two-match Test Series between South Africa and India ended up in a draw with a scoreline of 1-1, with SA and India winning the first and second Test, respectively.
