Former legendary Indian skipper MS Dhoni still enjoys a massive fan following throughout the entire country even after more than three years of his retirement from international cricket. Meanwhile, the affection of fans for MS Dhoni was also seen recently during an event, where he happened to sing ‘Main Pal do Pal ka Shayar Hoon’ on the stage during the event after a request from the host.

Notably, this renowned song was sung by the legendary Bollywood singer Late Mukesh and it was penned by the famous poet Sahir Ludhianvi. The song was picturized on the legendary Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan.

The video of MS Dhoni singing this beautiful song started making rounds on social media as soon as it was shared by a user on X (formerly Twitter).

Apart from that, the former World Champion skipper also extended his gratitude to the fans for the affection and love they showed towards him wherever he goes in any corner of the country.

“The affection, that matters. I've relived that moment; I've been part of it. But it's the love and affection that I get everywhere. Thanks a lot for that,” said Dhoni during the event.

Interestingly, the song Dhoni sang during the event was the very song he used to announce his retirement with an Instagram post three years back in the year 2020 on August 15.

Notably, it was none other than MS Dhoni who led Team India to clinch the World Cup title 12 years back in the ODI World Cup 2011; it was the time when the tournament when the prestigious cricket quadrennial was played in India and now, after 12 years, the tournament is back again in India as the ODI World Cup 2023 is underway with the hosts India as an only unbeaten team in the ongoing edition so far.
