Star Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has completely dismantled the Australian middle order with his brilliant bowling in the ongoing fifth match of the ODI World Cup 2023. He scalped three wickets at the cost of just 28 runs in his quota of 10 overs, including two wickets in the form of Marnus Labuschagne and Alex Carey in one over while he was bowling the 30th over of the first innings.

Apart from that, what attracted the headlines was Ravindra Jadeja’s stunning delivery to dismiss the former Australian skipper and the batting superstar, Steve Smith. This amazing delivery was bowled by Ravindra Jadeja just on the first ball of the 28th over.

The amazing turn of the ball went to beat the edge of the bat and hit the outer half of the off stump as Smith tried to tackle it from middle and off but Jadeja managed to trap him in the turn of the ball.

The video of this amazing delivery bowled by Ravindra Jadeja is also making rounds on social media as soon it was shared by a user on X (formerly Twitter).

Talking about the ongoing action of the match, the Aussies are in a miserable situation as they lost 8 wickets at the score of 169 runs in 44.1 overs, with the tailenders Mitchell Starc and Adam Zampa there in the middle on the individual scores of 7 and 3 runs, respectively.

Apart from Jadeja’s bowling heroics, Jasprit Bumrah and Kuldeep Yadav have also scalped two wickets each, alongside one wicket picked by Ravichandran Ashwin.

For Australia, only the star batters, David Warner and Steve Smith scored two crucial knocks of 41 and 46 runs, respectively. The duo also stitched an important 69-run partnership for the second wicket before Kuldeep Yadav trapped Warner in LBW during the 17th over of the first innings.
