The newly emerged batting sensation of India, Rinku Singh happened to amaze everyone with his power-hitting abilities in the ongoing second T20I of the three-match series against South Africa. Notably, South Africa and India are in action in the penultimate fixture of the T20I series at St. George’s Park in Gqberha.

The hosts’ skipper Aiden Markram won the toss and asked India to bat first; batting first, the men in blue posted a score of 180 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the allotted 20 overs, thanks to the brilliant half-centuries from skipper Suryakumar Yadav and young batting sensation Rinku Singh.

Coming back to Rinku Singh, he made it to the headlines for his unbelievable six in the 19th over of the innings, which was bowled by none other than the opponent skipper Aiden Markram. Rinku went on to smash a massive six that directly landed in the press box and broke the glass of the press box, where the journalists were present to cover the match.

The video of this amazing moment, showcasing the excellent hitting prowess of the 26-year-old Indian batting star is also making rounds on social media as soon as it was shared by users over the X (formerly Twitter).

Rinku Singh played an amazing knock of 68 runs off just 39 balls, hitting 9 fours and 2 sixes to help India reach a decent total of 180 runs. Apart from Rinku, skipper Yadav also played a crucial knock of 56 runs off just 36 balls, hitting 5 fours and 3 sixes.

Talking about Rinku’s T20I career so far, he has scored 248 runs in 7 innings of the 11 matches, he played so far, with a commendable average of 82.67, hitting a half-century, with his highest individual score of 68 runs.
