Rinku Singh has become a huge superstar in the annals of Indian cricket. The left-handed batter has put the world on notice with his big-hitting abilities with the bat. The youngster has become a huge part of the Indian white-ball setup.

Recently social media was flooded with a viral video of Rinku Singh’s father showing his dedication to his craft. The man could be seen distributing cylinders and going about his duties while earning praise from the netizens.

India’s latest batting sensation has seen a lot of struggle during his early years. Khanchandra Singh supported Rinku Singh’s dream of playing cricket in every little way possible. Since his son’s ascent into the Indian team, the family has started to get financially better off.

Rinku Singh’s old comments on his father’s job surface –

After earning fame by playing in the IPL, Rinku Singh spoke to PTI. The left-handed batter had spoken about the time Rinku had asked his father to take a breather from his job.

“I told Papa that you can relax now. But he is still hawking cylinders. He still loves that job. At one level, I understand his part also. If he starts relaxing at home, he will get bored instantly. If someone has worked all his life, it is difficult to tell him to stop unless he wants”

Rinku Singh showed his talents with the bat during the recent T20I series versus Afghanistan. It was during the final game in Bengaluru that the youngster rose to the occasion.

At one stage India was reeling at 22/4 before Rinku Singh joined skipper Rohit Sharma and added 190 runs for the fifth wicket. India won the match on the back of a double super-over as Ravi Bishnoi won the game with the ball.

With the massive T20I World Cup later this year, the next few months are crucial for Rinku Singh. Last year the left-handed batter hit five sixes in succession to win a close game for Kolkata against the then-title-holder Gujarat Titans.
