Talking about MS Dhoni and cricket, he has recently been invited by cricket’s governing body to attend the final of the ongoing ODI World Cup 2023 between India and Australia. Dhoni is invited, alongside all previous World Cup-winning captains as cricket’s governing body will felicitate them on this big occasion of the ODI World Cup 2023 final at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
Dhoni became the second Indian skipper to lead Team India to win the second ODI World Cup title after a long wait of 28 years since 1983. Under the captaincy of Mahi, the men in blue defeated Sri Lanka by 6 wickets to clinch the ODI World Cup 2011 title.
Now, it will be the fourth time Team India will be appearing in the final of an ODI World Cup while taking ground today against Australia in the final of the ODI World Cup 2023. Rohit Sharma-led Team India will be the first-ever Indian side in the ODI World Cup history to reach the tournament's final without losing even a single match throughout the tournament.
Coming back to MS Dhoni, he is the only captain in the cricketing history to win all marquee international tournaments, including the T20 World Cup, ODI World Cup, and Champions Trophy.
