After the hybrid-model hosting of the Asia Cup 2023 in Pakistan and Sri Lanka, dark clouds have started looming over the Champions Trophy 2025; the marquee international tournament is scheduled to be hosted by Pakistan. But recent developments have suggested that the tournament might get shifted to Dubai or could be played in a hybrid model if India denies to travel to Pakistan for the tournament.
In the same line of events, the star Pakistan pacer Hasan Ali also came up with a statement on the concern of India travelling to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy 2025. Hasan Ali feels that the men in blue should tour Pakistan for the marquee international tournament.
“India should come to Pakistan for the 2025 Champions Trophy. Every team has come to Pakistan and played cricket here. New Zealand were threatened, they refused and then came here twice too so it's not an issue for us to host matches,” said Hasan Ali to Samaa Lounge.

Earlier, a closed source to the PCB and Indian Cricket Board also revealed the meeting of PCB officials, especially President Zaka Ashraf and COO Salman Naseer with the officials of the Cricket’s Governing Body.
“Pakistani officials discussed the probability of the Indian Cricket Board again refusing to send its team to Pakistan and made it clear that in any given situation the Cricket's Governing Body must avoid taking unilateral decisions on the tournament,” the source said.
“The PCB officials said many top teams had toured Pakistan in the last two years without any security concerns. They also made it clear that in case India do not send its team and its matches are moved to another country, then the ICC must compensate Pakistan for this,” he added later.
Notably, the Pakistan cricket team recently visited India for the ODI World Cup 2023, where they got knocked from the league stage of the prestigious cricket quadrennial after losing 5 matches out of the 9 matches, they played.
