In an interesting piece of news for cricket fans across Afghanistan and India, the star pacer Naveen-ul-Haq has made it to the squad of Afghanistan for the upcoming ODI World Cup 2023, in India. The news has attracted a lot of eyeballs as it was only Naveen who was in the controversial headlines after indulging in a forgettable fight with the former Indian skipper and the batting superstar, Virat Kohli.
It all happened during a match of the Indian Premier League 2023 between Lucknow Super Giants and Royal Challengers Bangalore. RCB’s former skipper was seen in a heated altercation with the LSG pacer Naveen-ul-Haq both during the match and during the courtesy handshake after the end of the match.
This altercation went to a big extent when fans saw Virat Kohli having a heated conversation and an argument with the LSG mentor and his former senior Indian teammate, Gautam Gambhir.

Now, the fans are eagerly waiting for the India vs Afghanistan clash on October 11 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi to witness the rivalry between Virat Kohli and Naveen-ul-Haq.
Speaking of the Afghanistan squad for the ODI World Cup 2023, in India, Hashmatullah Shahidi will lead the 15-men squad in the 13th edition of the World Cup. Star batters, Rahmanullah Gurbaz, Ibrahim Zadran, Riaz Hasan, Rahmat Shah, and Najibullah Zadran will be the important pillars of batting for Afghanistan.
Other than them, former skipper Mohammad Nabi will be one of the senior all-rounders for the Team in the World Cup. The star and celebrated all-rounder, Rashid Khan will lead the spin attack for his side. The pace attack of Afghanistan will consist of four pacers, including Fazalhaq Farooqi, Abdul Rahman, and Naveen-ul-Haq, who is making his comeback in the national squad.
