Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are known for having one of the most supportive and loyal fan bases in the world. They have been behind the team in good times and in bad times as well. They are willing to be the voice of the team in almost every stadium their team plays and don't worry about the travel and the arrangements that they might have to make just to see the men in yellow play in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Some of the major CSK players and staff might be with the team one last time and this IPL was a chance for the fans to show their support for their team. Ambati Rayudu has already announced his retirement from the IPL and there are also rumours that this might be the final IPL for CSK skipper MS Dhoni and head coach Stephen Fleming.

A post surfaced on social media after the day of the IPL final was washed out and the match had to be postponed to the reserve day.
The caption of the post tweeted by a fan at the railway station was, “It is 3 o'clock in the night when I went to Ahmedabad railway station, I saw people wearing jersey of csk team, some were sleeping, some were awake, some people, I asked them what they are doing, they said we have come only to see MS Dhoni @IPL @ChennaiIPL #IPLFinal #Ahmedabad.”
What happened on the main day of the IPL final?
Around 6:30 p.m. local time, which was 30 minutes before the throw time, it began to rain. It continued to pour for an additional two and a half hours at least. Nevertheless, the rain stopped shortly after 9:00 p.m. local when the covers were removed. Two super soppers had been working since about 8:30 p.m. IST.
Fans would be expecting that Monday would see the completion of the game as two of the best teams from this season of the Indian Premier League face off in the biggest stadium of the world.
