The rain has played a villain in the ongoing Super-4 match of the Asia Cup 2023 at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. Meanwhile, the new conditions are likely to come in play as the game has been stopped for more than an hour now. The fans and experts of the game are speculating that the fixture might end up being played as a 20-over-a-side game if rain forces to stop the game till a specific time.

Speaking of the action of the match, India were asked to bat first by Pakistan skipper Babar Azam who won the toss. The men in blue got a fiery start of 121 runs for the first wicket from the opening pair of skipper Rohit Sharma and his young partner Shubman Gill.
