Virat Kohli’s bad form has become a topic of national discussion. The fans of the cricketer are desperate to see the undisputed ‘king’ get back amongst the runs. They’re ready to go to any extent to make sure the batter finally raises his bat for his 71st international hundred, for which they’ve been waiting since November 2019.
One such fan recently got viral on social media for his incredible gesture towards the unprivileged people of society. A fan has been reportedly distributing food packets to the poor and homeless so that his wish of Kohli getting his 71st century gets fulfilled.
On Thursday, several photographs went viral on Twitter where the fan can be seen distributing the food packets on which ‘waiting for Virat’s 71st century’ can be read.

The cricket-crazy nation of India showers love on their favourite players unconditionally and prays for them in their good and bad times.
Kohli was known for scoring runs for fun as he piled up large number of runs every year. Regarded as one of the modern greats, the 33-year-old batter was seen at the top of many batting statistics in his peak form. People are so used to seeing him perform well that they can’t bear even a single low score from the star batter. The former Indian captain has been averaging in 20’s since the year 2020 in Tests. But his numbers in T20Is and ODIs haven’t been that bad. He averaged 75 in 2021 in T20 internationals and has averaged in 40’s in ODIS for the last two years.
People are eagerly waiting for their star batter to come back to form and thrash records one after the other. Besides, the upcoming 20-20 world cup is in Australia, and Kohli has a superb record in that part of the world. Moreover, he has won two "Man of the Tournament" awards in the 20-20 World Cup, and will be looking to replicate the same performance this year as well. Virat is the only player in T20Is to average over 50 with over 3,000 runs.
