Virat Kohli is known to meet his friends in the same way as he used to do years ago. A couple of years back, he had told that he doesn't like to be formal with his friends. Kohli said the same during a conversation with India football skipper Sunil Chhetri. Once again, he has been spotted with one of his friends, Dwarka Ravi Teja. Teja is a former India U19 player who played from 2006 to 2007.

He is a former Hyderabad player in the Indian T20 League. Currently, he plays for the Hyderabad team in domestic cricket. The right-hander played with Kohli during his U15 days. Recently, the Hyderabad player uploaded photos of him with the former India skipper on Instagram. In the caption, Ravi revealed that he met Virat after six years. Further, the 34-year-old revealed how the duo used to dance to Chiranjeevi's songs during the U15 days.

"Met him after 6 long years after ITL in UK and the first thing he tells me is Chiru kaisa hai tu? Throwback to U-15 days when we were roommates and I used to watch Chiranjeevi’s songs on tv and he used to dance to them and from then on we never called each other by our names and Chiru was the nickname we gave each other and whenever we met post that we always called each other Chiru. Such fond memories and even after so many years everything still felt the same and nothing has changed. It was great seeing u Chiru and hope to meet u again super soon," the post was captioned.

Recently, the 102-Test veteran was rested for the first ODI against England on July 12. This created controversy on the internet as the fans believe that Indian Cricket Board is using the term 'rested' to drop him from the team. The 2011 World Cup winner was rested due to a groin injury.
