The FIFA World Cup 2022 kicked off in a grand manner in Qatar on November 20, Sunday and the tournament is turning out to be a great one as spectators got to witness some of the best action-packed games. On Tuesday, four matches were played and Saudi Arabia produced one of the greatest wins of all time, as they pulled off a stunner against Argentina.

France dominated Australia in the final match of the day and the biggest sporting event is already well poised and is well on course to witness more upsets as days pass by.

As things stand, let us take a look at the Day 3 report of the FIFA World Cup 2022:

1) Argentina vs Saudi Arabia (1-2)

Saudi Arabia and Argentina locked horns in the first match of the day and it was the former who came out on top at the end of 90 minutes on the back of a stunner from Salem Aldawsari in the second half.

While Lionel Messi scored the only goal for the La Albiceleste making use of a penalty in the first half, Saudi Arabia eventually managed to make a comeback and it was Saleh Alshehri who scored the first goal for the team in the 48th minute, while Aldawsarai scored the winning goal in the 53rd minute.

2) Denmark vs Tunisia (0-0)

Denmark squared off against Tunisia in the second game of the day, which eventually ended in a draw with both teams failing to score a goal. However, it was Denmark who held the possession mostly, although Tunisia prevented them from taking a lead.

With each team taking one point apiece, Group D is equally poised, with France becoming the early favourites to make it through to the next round of the tournament.

3) Mexico vs Poland (0-0)

Mexico toiled it hard against Poland and eventually came up with 11 shots, although none of them managed to go into the 6-yard box. Poland, on the other hand, looked lost and eventually managed to restrict the game to a draw.

It will be a difficult run for both teams as Saudi Arabia are at the top, clinching 3 points on the back of their mighty win against Argentina. However, with Poland in second place, they stand second favourites to make it through.

4) France vs Australia (4-1)

France and Australia clashed in the final match of Day 3 and it turned out to be an action-filled one as former crushed Australia and eventually look 3 points home on the back of their emphatic win.

Regarding the match, the Socceroos took an early lead on the back of a goal from Craig Goodwin in the 9th minute. However, the Les Tricolores bounced back and eventually managed to score 4 goals in total with Olivier Giroud grabbing a brace for the team.
