The FIFA World Cup 2022 hosted by Qatar is witnessing the Round of 16 stages and the teams are toiling it hard on the green surface to make it through to the next round of the epic tournament. As things stand, it was South Korea and Brazil who locked horns in the Round of 16 stage and the latter were brimming with confidence, and they went on to score 4 goals in the first half.

Concerning the first half, it was all about the Brazilian camp as they outclassed and outplayed their opponents with sheer grit and perseverance. Much to the stupefaction of the Brazilian fans, the team went on to score many goals on the back of stupendous efforts from Vini Jr and Neymar Jr. While Vini Jr scored the first goal for the team in the 7th minute, Neymar banked on a penalty chance in the 13th minute and doubled the lead.

While many predicted that it might be the end of goals, Brazil's trusted player, Richarlison, tripled the lead and inched the team closer to the win, even before the start of the second half. Eventually, Lucas Paquetá scored yet another goal in the 36th minute and ensured that Brazil were well ahead in the race. South Korea, on the other hand, were struggling to cope with the wrath of Brazil's players and kept fetching chances for their mighty opponents.

Brazil continue magical run in FIFA World Cup 2022

As far as the second half is concerned, while the Brazilian team continued to dominate the game, South Korea, on the other hand, came up with better intent as they tried to put up a fight before bowing down to a mighty team. Although it was a crushing defeat for the South Korean team, they have a great team and they would hope to make a comeback in the next edition of the world's biggest sporting event. Despite facing Brazil's wrath, Paik Seung-ho, the star player from South Korea, scored the first goal for the team in the 76th minute.

It was Brazil who won the game in the second half with a scoreline of 4-1 and made a cut to the quarter-finals of the FIFA World Cup 2022. It remains to be seen if the Brazilian camp might as well reach the summit clash, given that the likes of Argentina, Croatia and others are already in the quarter-finals of the ongoing world's biggest sporting event.
