PSG's dressing room has been thrown into disarray with a fallout between Neymar and Mbappe, with Messi as the casualty.

It seems like something that people thought would go wrong has finally gone wrong! PSG added Lionel Messi to the already sensational star cast of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe last year. Reports of differences between Neymar and Mbappe were already made before Messi’s arrival. But since last year, the power struggle has become three-way.

In the second match of League 1 against Montpellier, Mbappe was seen indulging in theatrics on the ground. In one incident, he was seen stopping when PSG were on the counter-attack as he did not receive the ball.

In the other instance, he was seen arguing with Neymar to give him the penalty. The one, however, which has brought the whole of footballing fraternity together is him bumping into and brushing aside Messi.

This has not gone down well for the French youngster as he is getting trolled left, right, and centre. Before we look at those tweets, however, let us know the root cause behind this fallout at PSG.

Many reports suggest that PSG’s dressing room is divided with Messi and Neymar on one side and Mbappe on the other. Sergio Ramos, meanwhile, has tried to turn up as the mediator between the two.

Mbappe, who was almost ready to sign for Real Madrid this season, was given a bumper contract by the PSG management. This deal which is reported to be over €250m has made the 23-year-old one of the best-paid footballers of all time. Additionally, Mbappe has also been handed over veto powers at the club. Essentially, he has the power to have a say in terms of player signings and coach appointments.

Giving a young person so much power is a recipe for disaster as PSG are about to find out and allegedly already doing so behind the curtains. The fallout between Mbappe and Neymar with Messi as a unique spectator was all laid bare for everyone to see at PSG’s last game.

Twitter has, however, sided with Messi given his stature in the sport. Let’s look at some of the tweets on the matter.
