India and Australia are currently locking horns in the fourth and last of the four-match Test series at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The action of fifth day of the match is underway; having Australia batting in their second innings in response to India’s lead of 91 runs after the first innings.

Meanwhile, the Indian camp is also gearing up for the upcoming three-match ODI series against the Aussies. They have also announced the squad for the white-ball fixtures against the yellow outfits. Amidst all this, the news of Shreyas Iyer’s injury has also come up as a concern for the Indian team. So, the hosts would be definitely looking for a replacement for the star middle-order batter.

Subsequently, the media reports understand that the team management might include the star Kerela wicketkeeper-batter Sanju Samson in the squad. Notably, the regular Indian skipper Rohit Sharma would not be available to play in the first of the three-match ODI series at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. He will be missing the first ODI due to personal commitments; the star all-rounder Hardik Pandya will lead the team in Rohit’s absence in Mumbai ODI.
