Pakistan are currently busy playing the first of the two-match Test series at home against New Zealand. However, they suffered humiliation when England thrashed them 3-0 in the home Test series. After that, the Pakistan Cricket Board took a massive step by sacking Ramiz Raja from the Chairman's post.

Now, Najam Sethi has been appointed as the new Chairman of the PCB. However, fans slammed both Ramiz Raja and Babar Azam for such a poor performance at home against England. Now, another star pacer of the Men in Green, Wahab Riaz came up with a huge revelation about the former PCB Chairman.

“I don't think any player has got as many chances as those under Ramiz bhai.” - Wahab Riaz on Ramiz Raja

While talking about his struggle during Ramiz Raja’s tenure on Samaa TV, Wahab Riaz said that the former PCB Chairman never replied to him back of his texts. He said: “I was talking to one of the board members and he said he was happy that Ramiz bhai was going.

“So, the people who worked under you were not happy with you. I had messaged Ramiz bhai 4-5 times during his tenure, I said I'm waiting for your message and your call. He didn't reply me back. Why? I'm a present cricketer, I didn't take retirement,” Riaz added. He further added that no players have been given as many chances as those under Ramiz Raja.

“Anyone who was above 30 was deemed unfit to play. They said that it could hurt the unity of the team or the performance of the team. Who has performed from the team that they chose? I don't think any player has got as many chances as those under Ramiz bhai. We didn't get more than 2 games. And after all that, the chief selector comes and says, ‘this team has given you a lot of happiness’. What's this? Eid?” Wahab Riaz concluded. Speaking of the ongoing Test, Pakistan scored 438 runs in their first innings. But, in reply, the Kiwis ended day two after scoring 165 runs without losing any wickets.
