The star Kolkata Knight Riders batter Rinku Singh has amazed everyone with his sensational batting performances in the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League 2023. He has proved his worth for the team in a couple of matches by crossing the line in the end with impressive batting in the death overs.

Rinku has scored 337 runs in 11 innings with five unbeaten knocks in the 11 matches he played so far for KKR in the tournament. Rinku has scored these runs with an outstanding average of 56.16 and a strike rate of 151.12. Meanwhile, the former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh has lavished praise on the young southpaw and also predicted that the latter would be seen in the Indian colours very soon.

“That India cap is not far away from Rinku’s head. He’s such an inspirational player. He’s run all the hard yards and worked very hard to get to where he is today. Full credit to him for having that belief in himself. His journey is a life lesson and all young kids should learn from him,” said the former World Cup-winning off-spinner.

Other than Harbhajan Singh, the former Indian cricketer Mohammed Kaif also echoed the same thought while talking about Rinku Singh and his batting excellence in the current season.

“Rinku Singh has that maturity. His footwork is very good and he looks to rotate strikes as well. Rinku knows how to convert his form into good knocks and also knows when to shift gears. He is capable of hitting big shots as well,” said Mohammed Kaif.

Now, Rinku Singh will be in action with KKR in the 56^th match of the Indian Premier League 2023 in their next match against Rajasthan Royals today from 7.30 PM. Both teams will play this match at the Eden Gardens Stadium in Kolkata.
