India defeated West Indies in the thrilling second ODI match at the Queen's Park Oval by two wickets. With one game remaining in the series, this victory ensured India's series win. Axar Patel, Shreyas Iyer, and Sanju Samson were the stars of the Indian chase. Each scored a half-century to win the game for their team.

However, it seemed as if Samson would go for some more runs had he stayed for a bit longer. He was involved in an unfortunate mixup with Deepak Hooda that resulted in him getting run out. Samson flicked a ball to short fine-leg and denied Hooda's call to run. but the latter had already dashed off and Samson had to run to the non-striker's end. At a pivotal moment, he lost his wicket because of this. Before being out in the 39th over, he scored 54 runs in 51 balls.

Fans reacted to this by blaming Deepak Hooda for the runout as Samson appeared to be in good form. "Deepak Hooda Is One Of The Most Selfish Players, After He Came To Crease Samson Only Played 8 Balls In 5 Overs, And Made Him Run Out Too, Same Happened In Ire Too In T20s, Seems He Wanted To Play All Balls," an angry fan wrote.

"Sanju refused the run but Deepak has crossed half the way. Feel for Sanju. Deepak ye kya kiya?" another fan wrote.

As for the game, West Indies scored 311 runs in the first innings thanks to outstanding efforts from Shai Hope (115 runs in 135 balls) and Nicholas Pooran (74 runs in 77 balls). India's chase got off to a shaky start as they lost a few wickets quickly, but Shreyas Iyer (63 runs in 71 balls) and Sanju Samson (54 runs in 51 balls) helped the side turn things around.

Axar Patel was then charged with the duty of guiding his team to the finish line, which he successfully did. In just 35 balls, he scored an unbeaten 64 runs with three fours and five sixes to lead his team to victory.
