Rishabh pant met with a terrible road accident on the Narsan border of Roorkee near Hammadpur Jhal. He hit his Mercedes with a divider on the Delhi-Dehradun highway while returning home from Delhi. Pant got severely injured and ultimately, he was taken to the Max Hospital in Dehradun.
As per the update from the Indian Cricket Board, Rishabh Pant has two cuts on his forehead and a ligament tear in his right knee. He has also hurt his right wrist, ankle, and toe while he has suffered abrasion injuries on his back. Now, some reports have come out that the star batter might miss the upcoming Indian T20 League in 2023.

A medical team member said: “His condition is being monitored by Dr. Gaurav Gupta of the orthopedics department. Pant is stable, and not suffering from any life-threatening injury. His mother is with him in the hospital.” Regarding his situation, Dr. Qamar Azam at the AIIMS Rishikesh said, “Pant will take at least three to six months to recover from the ligament injury. And if it’s severe, he may take more time. Further evaluation can be based on his detailed injury report.”
Speaking of the accident, Pant hit the car with the railing and the car caught fire as per eyewitnesses. They also added that Rishabh Pant hit the car and the vehicle collided with a pile of soil and rolled over multiple times. Then, the car hit guard rails on the side of the road and caught fire. As per reports, Pant was trying hard to get out of the car. But, he was unable to do so due to several injuries on his head, knee, and shin.
However, now it has been found that it was a Haryana bus driver Sushil Kumar and the bus conductor Paramjeet who had rescued Pant from the burning car and called the ambulance. They also got acknowledged for their heroic effort to save the star batter from such an accident.
