‘I think he always tries to be…’ – Australia star makes big statement on Virat Kohli ahead of WTC 2023 final between India and Australia

Everybody in the cricketing fraternity is eyeing the former Indian skipper and batting veteran, Virat Kohli as World Test Championship 2023 final is just around the corner. The match is all set to be played between the two Test cricket giants, India and Australia. Both teams will this highly anticipated summit clash of the Championship at The Oval in London on the 7th of June, Wednesday.

Meanwhile, the star Aussie all-rounder Cameron Green has come up with a big statement for India’s batting superstar Virat Kohli. Notably, Kohli has a very brilliant track record of performing against Australia in the past.

Whenever it comes to rescuing India in tough situations, Kohli doesn’t fail to live up to the expectations and comes up with his best. In the same regard, Green also lavished praise on the veteran of 75 international centuries ahead of the big clash between India and Australia.

Here’s what Cameron Green said about Virat Kohli

“Virat Kohli. I think he always tries to be the man to stand up in big moments. A World Test Championship is obviously a massive moment, so I look forward to that,” said Green to ICC ahead of the commencement of the WTC 2023 final between India and Australia.

Green was in action with the Mumbai Indians franchise, who made it to the playoffs of the recently-concluded 16th edition of the Indian Premier League. He was a key factor in the team’s journey from being troubled in the league stage to making it to the knock-out stage of the tournament.

Notably, both teams have announced their 15-men squad for the WTC 2023 final and both will be eyeing to win their first-ever title in the World Test Championship.
