Asia Cup 2023 is all set to begin on the 31^st of August with the concept of the hybrid model including a co-hosting of the matches by Pakistan and Sri Lanka. The official hosts of the tournament, Pakistan will host the initial four matches of the tournament followed by the remaining matches in Sri Lanka.

Meanwhile, the official TV broadcasters of the continental tournament have also released the video promo for the 16^th edition of the Asia Cup. The video of the recently-released promo is making rounds on social media within minutes of being shared by the official broadcasters from their Twitter handle.

Subsequently, cricket fans immediately rushed to the micro-blogging site Twitter to come up with some amazing and interesting reactions to this newly-released Promo of the Asia Cup 2023. Some of the fans also questioned the official broadcasters as they forgot to mention the Nepal Cricket Team who made it to the main edition of the Asia Cup 2023 recently this year with a historic win in the qualifiers.

Notably, this year’s edition of the Asia Cup will be back in the format of 50-overs considering the preparation for the ODI World Cup 2023. Earlier, there had been a lot of tussles between India and Pakistan on the level of the cricket board regarding Team India’s visit to Pakistan for the Asia Cup 2023.

It was Indian Cricket Board’s secretary Jay Shah, who started things initially by clearly denying Indian Team’s visit to Pakistan to play in the continental tournament.

Later on, Pakistan Cricket Board and their president Najam Sethi made all efforts to put pressure on India to travel to Pakistan. But unfortunately, the conditions of the Indian Cricket Board prevailed and they made Pakistan adjust the hybrid model of hosting for the Asia Cup 2023.
