Star India left-arm pacer Arshdeep Singh scalped a brilliant three-wicket haul against Afghanistan in the ongoing second T20I of the three-match series. India and Afghanistan are taking on each other in the second fixture of the T20I series at the Holkar Stadium in Indore.

The hosts’ skipper Rohit Sharma won the toss and asked Afghanistan to bat first; batting first, Afghanistan were bowled out at the score of 172 runs in the allotted 20 overs. Arshdeep Singh ended up as the leading wicket-taker for India in the first innings, scalping 3 wickets at the cost of 32 runs in his quota of 4 overs.

Besides Arshdeep, Ravi Bishnoi and Axar Patel also claimed two wickets each, alongside one wicket bagged by Shivam Dube.
