After facing a massive defeat by a mammoth margin of 434 runs against India, Ben Stokes-led England have announced their playing XI for the upcoming fourth Test of the five-match series. Both teams will take on each other in the penultimate fixture of the Test series at the JSCA International Stadium in Ranchi.

Meanwhile, England have made two changes as they have picked the star pacer Ollie Robinson and young spinner Shoaib Bashir in the playing XI to replace the pace-spin duo of Mark Wood and Rehan Ahmed. Notably, Ollie Robinson will be playing his first match in the ongoing five-match Test series against India as he missed the first three Tests.

Besides all this, the visiting skipper also hailed his star pacer ahead of the latter’s participation in the Ranchi Test against the hosts.

"It is tough for someone like Ollie" - Ben Stokes about Ollie Robinson

Ben Stokes heaped the praise on Robinson’s skills and expected him to become a successful bowler anywhere in the world with the same kind of skill set.

“He has worked incredibly hard while he has been out here. And it is tough for someone like Ollie, who's played such a big part in the game over the last two years, where he has not taken part in a game and the stuff, he has done away from the game itself has been very good,” ESPN Cricinfo quoted Ben Stokes.

“He's got unbelievable skills to be a successful bowler anywhere in the world. What we've seen in England is he's very skilful, but we've seen more than that in Pakistan. It's similar but different here, but with the skill he possesses, he can find any movement, and his release point is always going to be dangerous,” he added later.

Furthermore, Stokes also opened up about his conversation with Robinson ahead of the Ranchi Test against Rohit Sharma’s India.

“I told him today he has been a great example of doing the right things and waiting your turn if it comes. Not playing the first three Tests can be tough and disappointing. But the way he has cracked on and got his fitness stuff in and not let disappointment get in the way of a potential chance that might come in this series,” he said.
