The star Indian pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah achieved another remarkable and new milestone in Test cricket. He completed his 150 Test wickets with the dismissal of the England skipper Ben Stokes in the first innings of England. Apart from that, Bumrah also became the fastest Indian pacer to reach the milestone of 150 Test wickets.

He has scalped these 150 Test wickets just with an amazing bowling average of only 20.50. The 30-year-old claimed a sensational 5-wicket haul, picking 6 wickets just at the cost of 45 runs in 15.5 overs, including 5 maiden overs.   

On the back of Bumrah’s 6-fer, India managed to bundle out England just at the score of 253 runs after the former scored 396 runs in their first innings. Eventually, India took a lead of 143 runs at the end of the first innings before coming to bat in the second innings.

England in trouble after a decent start from Zak Crawley

Speaking of the action of the match, India started their batting in the second innings and scored 19 runs for no loss at the time of filling this copy, taking their lead to 162 runs in the second innings.

Earlier on day two, young Indian opener Yashasvi Jaiswal started batting from his overnight score of 179 runs and sensationally completed his double century. However, he fell prey to the veteran pacer James Anderson followed by India bundling up at the score of 396 runs.

Later in England’s first innings, opener Zak Crawley and skipper Ben Stokes played the knocks of 76 and 47 runs, respectively to help England amidst a batting downfall against the Indian bowling attack.

Coming back to Bumrah, the fans also came up with a lot of praising remarks for him; they hailed the speedster for his amazing contributions to Team India with the bowl.
