The young Indian opener Yashasvi Jaiswal left the cricketing fraternity stunned and awestruck with his sensational double century in the ongoing second Test of the five-match series against England. He also attracted the headlines for completing a century and double century with a six and a four respectively.

The 22-year-old finished scoring 209 runs off 290 runs, hitting 19 fours and 7 sixes before falling prey to the veteran pacer James Anderson. The impact of Jaiswal’s knock over India’s total in the first innings can be understood by the fact none of the batters other than him scored even a half-century.

Meanwhile, back in his hometown, Jaiswal’s family and friends celebrated the amazing achievement of the young cricketer. The fireworks and celebrations were seen in Yashasvi Jaiswal’s hometown.
