Breaching the stadium security and meeting your favourite cricketer or the player a fan admires, has become an emerging trend in the cricket for last couple of months. Especially in India, there have been a lot of instances in the recent past when the fans breached security to meet star Indian cricketers.
A similar happened recently on the first day of the ongoing first Test of the five-match series between India and England. The game came to a halt when a fan breached the security and entered the stadium to meet the Indian skipper Rohit Sharma and touch his feet.
It all happened when India had started their batting in the first innings after England were bundled out at the score of 246 runs in the first innings. However, the security immediately entered the ground and took the fan away from Rohit Sharma and the ground as well.
The video of this moment has also gone viral over social media as soon as it was shared by a fn over X (formerly Twitter).

Speaking of the current action of the match, the hosts have scored 83 runs for the loss of 1 wicket in 13.5 overs in response to England’s first-innings total of 246 runs. Shubman Gill and Yashasvi Jaiswal are there in the middle for India at individual scores of 1 and 54 runs, respectively.
Earlier in the first innings, Indian bowlers impressed with their performances, with Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja scalping three wickets each, alongside two wickets each picked by star pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah and spin-allrounder Axar Patel.
England skipper Ben Stokes played a well-fought knock of 70 runs to help his team recover from trouble as they kept losing wickets on quick intervals while batting first after winning the toss.
