Indian skipper Rohit Sharma is mostly known for his jolly and hilarious nature on the field; it has been seen on most of the occasions when Rohit’s messages to his teammates got caught in the stump later it also left the fans in splits. A video also went viral on the second day of the ongoing second Test of the five-match series between India and England.
Meanwhile, a similar sort of incident also took place on the second day itself when fans witnessed another typical ‘Rohit Sharma’ moment. It happened on the last ball of the 26th umpire when Jasprit Bumrah trapped the modern-day great Joe Root in front of the stumps.
Skipper Rohit was in a bit of confusion if he should take a review or not; following a discussion with wicketkeeper KS Bharat, Rohit went on to initiate a banter by asking on-field Marais Erasmus about the same.
“Marais, what do you think?” said Rohit Sharma to umpire as he was caught by stump mic.
The video of this moment also started making rounds on social media as soon as it was shared by a user over X (formerly Twitter).
