Naushad Khan, Sarfaraz’s father and coach, was also present there in Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium when his son was handed his Test cap by the former legendary Indian leg-spinner Anil Kumble in the third Test of the five-match series against England.

Sarfaraz immediately ran to his father after getting his Test cap from Anil Kumble; his father could be seen in tears of joy when the 26-year-old was getting his cap. Furthermore, Naushad Khan also kissed Sarfaraz Khan’s cap and hugged him.
