Indian T20 League’s franchises are gearing up for the next season as the mini-auction is going to take place on 23 December in Kochi. On 15 November 2022, all these franchises submitted their retained and released players list to the Indian Cricket Board. Now, on 13 December, the Board announced the full list of players who are going to be under the hammer.
A total of 405 players will be available for auction. Among them, 273 are Indians and 132 are overseas players. The teams will have a total of 87 slots as they will look to fill in the upcoming auction. Big-name players like Ben Stokes will be up for the Indian T20 League auction
Initially, all 10 teams shortlisted 369 players from 991 players. Then, they requested 36 additional players and the list ended with 405 players. The total number of capped players is 119, uncapped players are 282, and 4 are from associate nations. Among the available 87 slots, 30 slots are for overseas players.
INR 2 crore is the highest reserve price with 19 overseas players have been slotted in the highest bracket. 11 players are on the auction list with a base price of INR 1.5 crore. Manish Pandey and Mayank Agarwal are the two Indian players on the list of 20 cricketers with a base price of INR 1 crore. The mega event will start at 14:30 IST.
