Young Indian batter Prithvi Shaw is currently in action with Delhi Capitals in the ongoing Indian Premier League 2023. But now, he has attracted the headlines of social media but it is not for good reasons at all. For the unversed, the young Southpaw was involved in a physical brawl with the social media influencer Sapna Gill in Mumbai.
Later on, a criminal complaint was filed against Sapna Gill and she was arrested and taken in the custody. But now, in the latest line of events, influencer Gill has also lodged a criminal complaint against Prithvi Shaw at a local police station in Mumbai.
Notably, Shaw was accompanied by his friend Ashish Surendra Yadav at the time of the brawl that happened in the vile parle region of Mumbai.
Subsequently, Shaw has been booked under the criminal charges of 354, 509, and 324 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

Talking about cricket, Prithvi Shaw hasn’t lived up to the expectations for Delhi Capitals in the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League 2023. He has scored only 12 and 7 runs in the first two matches he played so far in the tournament.
Speaking of Delhi; they have faced consecutive defeats in the tournament so far against Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans respectively.
Now, Delhi Capitals will face Rajasthan Royals in their third match of the tournament at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati on Saturday, the 8th of April. Rajasthan Royals have won and lost one match each in the two matches they played so far.
Coming back to Prithvi Shaw, he had been in the headlines of social media for the last couple of months due to his frequent omissions from the national side of the Indian Cricket Team. He also enjoyed a good run of form with the bat in the recently-concluded Ranji Trophy.
