Former legendary Indian skipper and wicketkeeper-batter MS Dhoni is celebrating his 42nd birthday today. Dhoni is undoubtedly one of the most successful captains ever played in the history of the game. He is the only skipper who has a record of winning all the international tournaments during his tenure as India's captain.

The list includes the T20 World Cup 2007, ODI World Cup 2011, and Champions Trophy 2013. Apart from that, he also led India to become the number one Test Team back then in 2009, a feat that was never achieved before.

Dhoni's devoted supporters and Indian cricket fans are also overjoyed as the icon celebrates another year of his life. Fans are pouring out their hearts to extend their heartfelt wishes for Dhoni on his birthday.

Here’s how fans celebrated MS Dhoni’s birthday on Twitter:

Notably, "Captain Cool" hung his boots in international cricket almost three years back on the 15th of August 2020. In his 15-year-long international career for India, Dhoni played 90 Tests, 350 ODIs, and 98 T20Is before he bid adieu to international cricket. In these matches, the 42-year-old scored 4876 Test runs, 10773 ODI runs, and 1617 T20I runs, including 6 Test centuries and 10 ODI centuries.

Apart from that, Dhoni also played some remarkable knocks throughout his career at crucial times when India required him the most. One of his career’s memorable knocks came in the historic final of the ODI World Cup 2011 when he scored unbeaten 91 runs to win the game for India including a remarkable match-winning six off Nuwan Kulasekara.

Recently, Dhoni also jointly became the most successful skipper in the history of the Indian Premier League as his team, Chennai Super Kings won the fifth title by winning the 2023 season. There are also the chances that he might be in action for CSK during next year’s edition of the Indian Premier League.
