Pakistan are currently busy playing the ongoing 20-20 World Cup. However, fans have not been impressed with the form of their team so far in the tournament. Pakistan managed to win only one of their first three matches before facing the Proteas on 3 November 2022. They took on South Africa at the SCG as it was a must-win game for them.

In this tournament, they suffered a shocking defeat against Zimbabwe. So, fans and former cricketers were angry after a such humiliating loss. They blamed their former Pakistan skipper and Prime Minister Imran Khan for the downfall of the overall cricket. But, he got involved in a shocking incident in his own country on 3 November 2022.

Fans blamed the security of Pakistan after Imran Khan got injured by a bullet at his rally

Imran Khan got injured in his own rally in Wazirabad. Speaking of that incident, it took place at Zafarali Khan Chowk. According to ARY News, the former Pakistan PM Imran Khan was present during his 'freedom' rally in Wazirabad. But, reports suggested that a bullet hit his leg during that sudden attack. After the incident, people transferred Imran Khan from the container to a bulletproof vehicle.

During the rally, he was traveling in an open-top vehicle. According to several sources, another leader Faisal Javed also sustained an injury. Apart from them, four others were also injured in the incident. However, several reports suggested that the attacker has been arrested already. Seeing such an incident with the former PM, fans outburst in anger. They raised questions about the overall safety of Pakistan.

Cricket fans also said with that type of security, no teams should go to that country. Speaking about Imran Khanโ€™s carrer, he played 88 Test matches and 175 ODIs for Pakistan. In those matches, he scored 3807 runs and 3709 runs respectively with the bat. With the ball, Imran Khan took 182 ODI wickets and 362 Test wickets. Imran Khan guided Pakistan to their only World Cup glory in 1992. So, fans were not happy to see their hero getting involved in such an incident in his own country.
