The forthcoming Ashes series involving England and Australia has received a major prediction from former Australia bowler Glenn McGrath. In the most recent World Test Championship (WTC), Australia won the title of World Champion. At the Oval in London, they outscored India 209 runs to win the match. Australia will begin their championship defence alongside this series while the following cycle is scheduled to begin on June 16 with the Ashes.

He said, “I like that backing yourself, going out there, being positive, fourth innings to go out and play your shot, it's an aggressive mindset, and if you can get on top of the bowlers, you can score runs quickly and put the pressure back on them. My prediction is 5-nil."
