The star Indian wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant took to his social media to extend heartwarming birthday wishes to former legendary Indian skipper MS Dhoni. Notably, Dhoni turned 42 on Friday. On this special day, the young wicketkeeper-batter took to Instagram to come up with a special post for his icon and idol.

Apart from that, Pant also posted a special message for Dhoni in the caption of his Instagram post. "Happy birthday Mahi bhai. Aap toh ho nhi pass aapke liye cake cut leta hun mai. Happy birthday," reads the caption written by Pant with a photo of himself cutting cake on Dhoni’s birthday.

Other than Pant, the other former and current Indian cricketers also took to the micro-blogging site to wish the former World Cup-winning legendary skipper his 42nd birthday. Some of the former cricketers including the likes of former all-rounder Yuvraj Singh and the star off-spinner Harbhajan Singh were there in the Indian team when India won the ODI World Cup 2011 under the captaincy of MS Dhoni.

Interestingly, Dhoni is still the only captain in the history of the game who won all the major international tournaments as captain for his national team. It includes India’s title triumphs in T20 World Cup 2007, ODI World Cup 2011, and the Champions Trophy 2013.

He also guided India to become the number one Test first time in the history of the game back then in 2009.

Coming back to Rishabh Pant, he is not in action with Team India in the international for more than six months due to the horrific accident that he met last year on the 30th of December 2022. Following that accident, Pant had a major injury in his right knee which was treated later in a surgery under the supervision of the official medical team of the Indian Cricket Board.

Pant is expected to make his comeback in international cricket by the next year 2024. The fans and the experts of the game are expecting that Pant could return to cricket by the T20 World Cup 2024 which will be a very crucial tournament for India.
