'It is important to pass knowledge...'- Dwayne Bravo looking forward to ILT20 challenge

The International League T20 (ILT20) is set to begin on January 13 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The tournament has the cream of T20 cricket, and the first season of the tournament will be a fusion of international stars and also a great opportunity for the UAE players to converse with the best of the best.

Ahead of the season, a joint press conference was called upon by the captains. The tournament will take place for a period of 30 days and then six sides will take on each other. MI Emirates skipper Dwayne Bravo talked about the importance of the spreading of knowledge that he has got over time. The dispersal of knowledge he says will help the upcoming crop of players.

“It’s important for me to pass on whatever knowledge that I have about the game to my teammates and develop the next generation of cricketers. This is a short tournament, but it's going to be a competitive one," Bravo said at the press conference.

We are here to win- Moeen Ali

The Emirates will take on the Sharjah Warriors who will be led by Moeen Ali. The two sides will take on each other in the first fixture of the league. Moeen Ali who has won titles with the Chennai side in 2021 and also who has been a T20 globetrotter around the world said that his team is here with the sole intention to win.

“We’ll look to play some good cricket and we are here to win. We want to do well particularly in Sharjah since it's our home ground. We are looking forward to enjoying our cricket,” Moeen Ali said ahead of the match against the Emirates.  

The tournament will begin on Jan 13 and it will be held across Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. It will end on February 12. The league will comprise 34 matches in total.  The retired players will also be in action such as Robin Uthappa, Tymal Mills and many others. ,Mills has said that he will use this tournament as a springboard to come back into the England side.
