It seems like the repercussions of the ugly on-field spat and confrontation between Gautam Gambhir and Virat on Monday night, are going to take a bit long way now. This infamous altercation occurred between India’s 2011 World Cup-winning teammates just after the IPL 2023 match between Lucknow Super Giants and Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Kohli and Gambhir were seen involved in an ugly and heated conversation which compelled the other senior guys like Amit Mishra and Vijay Dahiya to intervene and set apart of them to avoid a further ugly conversation.
Meanwhile, the former DDCA president and veteran Indian journalist Rajat Sharma went on to put a question mark on Gambhir’s on-field behaviour with Virat Kohli on Monday.

Although it didn’t go down well with the LSG mentor and BJP’s Member of Parliament from the East Delhi constituency. Gambhir immediately took to Twitter to criticize Rajat Sharma with a ruthless tweet using very hard words in it.
“Man, who ran away from Delhi Cricket citing “pressure” seems over-eager to sell paid PR as concern for cricket! Yahi Kaliyug hai jahan bhagode apni ‘adalat’ chalate hain (this is the very kaliyug where the fugitives run their own courts),” wrote Gautam Gambhir in his tweet indicating on Rajat Sharma’s famous TV show ‘Aap Ki Adalat’.
Here’s a look at the tweet posted by Gautam Gambhir in response:
Man who ran away from Delhi Cricket citing “pressure” seems over eager to sell paid PR as concern for cricket! यही कलयुग़ है जहां ‘भगोड़े’ अपनी ‘अदालत’ चलाते हैं।

Although a section of cricket fans took it as an opportunity to troll Gautam Gambhir on the micro-blogging site Twitter and dubbed him a jealous guy who is not happy with anyone’s success. Fans also felt that Gambhir isn’t a man who can take criticism very easily and healthily.
Here’s how fans trolled Gautam Gambhir:

Man who ran away from his Constituency to earn money in commercial league. This shows priority of non serious public representative, who keep abusing for all failure and victories. People should pull collars of such representative, who abstains from office and don't even ask…

Notably, Gambhir and Kohli share an interesting history of on-field altercations as they had been involved in another heated argument 10 years back in the IPL 2013 when Gambhir was playing for KKR and Kohli was representing RCB in a match.
