Former RCB skipper and the batting superstar, Virat Kohli has achieved a new milestone to his name in the Indian Premier League 2023. He has become only the second batter in the history of the tournament to hit 50 half-centuries. Prior to him, the veteran Australian batter and currently, the DC skipper David Warner has accomplished this feat in his IPL career.
Although this knock of 55 runs off 46 balls from the 34-year-old didn’t go down well with a section of the Indian cricket fans. They criticized Kohli for his slow strike rate with the bat and a sluggish approach with the bat even while starting the innings as an opener. The fans took to Twitter to come up with some harsh reactions while trolling Virat Kohli for his knock in the ongoing match against Delhi Capitals.
Here’s how fans reacted:

Why Virat Kohli don't take risk before scoring 50?
Talking about the current action of the match between DC and RCB; the visitors’ skipper Faf du Plessis won the flip of the coin and decided to bat first. The veteran opening pair consisting of skipper du Plessis and former skipper Virat Kohli stitched a good partnership of 82 runs for the first wicket in 10.3 overs. Other than Kohli’s half-century, du Plessis also scored 45 runs with five boundaries and a six to his name.
At the time of filling this copy, the Royal Challengers Bangalore have scored 172 runs for the loss of three wickets in 19 overs having Mahipal Lomror and senior wicketkeeper-batter Dinesh Karthik there in the middle. Lomror has also smashed a quick half-century off just 27 balls with six boundaries and three sixes so far.
Mitchell Marsh scalped two wickets alongside one wicket each claimed by Khaleel Ahmed and Mukesh Kumar.
