Team India are currently busy playing the 20-20 World Cup 2022 in Australia. However, they started the world cup in a good manner as they defeat Pakistan and the Netherlands respectively. But, on 30 October, they lost against the Proteas in Perth. Fans were expecting team India to continue the winning momentum.
But, South Africa managed to defeat them in an enthralling battle. Speaking of the match, Rohit Sharma won the toss and choose to bat first. India brought in Deepak Hooda in place of Axar Patel. KL Rahul has scored only 22 runs in three matches in the 20-20 World Cup
KL Rahul has not made a good comeback into the International arena for India. After many century setbacks, Rahul made a comeback in the three-match ODI series in Zimbabwe. There he failed to score big runs. Then, in the Asia Cup 2022, he managed one fifty against Afghanistan only. Even, in the ongoing World Cup, he managed only four runs against Pakistan and nine runs against the Netherlands. So, fans were hoping to see him in form against the Proteas.
But, he failed again as KL Rahul scored only nine runs off 14 balls, including one six. Fans were not happy after seeing another failure from the star Indian batter. Speaking of the match, India managed only 133 runs by losing nine wickets in 20 overs. In reply, the Proteas chased it down with two balls to spare. But, on 31 October, a video went where the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath was seen playing cricket. After watching that, fans went crazy and they started to troll KL Rahul. They also termed Yogi Adityanath as the replacement of KL Rahul for the upcoming World Cup matches in the ongoing World Cup.
