After winning the first game of the 20-20 World Cup 2022 against Pakistan on 23 October, India took on the Netherlands in Sydney on 27 October. The Men in Blue were coming off that massive victory over the arch-rivals. On the other hand, the Dutch came off after a loss against Bangladesh. So, both teams were looking for a win to strengthen their position within the group over other teams.
