MS Dhoni has one of its own kind of superstardom currently in the Indian cricketing scenario. There are speculations that he might also retire from the Indian Premier League after the current season of the tournament. He is currently in action as a skipper with the four-time champions Chennai Super Kings in the ongoing edition of the IPL 2023.

Meanwhile, a lot of fans and experts are also assuming that Dhoni could be seen in action again in next year’s edition of the Indian Premier League 2024. Recently, the former Indian off-spinner and Dhoni’s 2011 World Cup-winning teammate, Harbhajan Singh has come up with praise for the former.

Harbhajan Singh went on to praise the two-time World Cup champion skipper and also urged him to keep playing in the Indian Premier League.

"MS Dhoni has stopped time. He still looks the same old Dhoni. Don't hurt our feelings MSD. You should continue playing,” said Harbhajan Singh in the sidelines of the Indian Premier League.

Speaking of the performance of Chennai Super Kings in the IPL 2023, they are currently placed in the second spot on the points table of the tournament. The yellow outfits have won seven matches and lost four in the 12 matches they played so far including one match with no result due to rain against LSG.

The Super Kings are strongly in contention for the playoffs as they need to win only a few matches to confirm their slot in the playoff in the current season of the tournament.

Now, Chennai Super Kings will lock horns with Kolkata Knight Riders in the 61st match of this edition at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
