The veteran Australian all-rounder Ellyse Perry missed a well-deserved century by a margin of just 1 run in the ongoing Women’s Ashes 2023 one-off Test. Notably, England Women and Australia Women are locking horns in the only Test at Trent Bridge in Nottingham. Aussie skipper Alyssa Healy won the toss on day 1 and decided to bat first.

Perry played an outstanding knock of 99 runs on the first day of the match but eventually, she fell prey to Lauren Filer and couldn’t complete her century. Later on, she also spoke about missing the century and went on to say that she has no regret of missing a personal milestone.
