He was called up to the Indian squad after his heroics in the Indian Premier League 2023. Apart from that, Rinku is also a part of the Indian squad for the upcoming Asian Games 2023.

Speaking of Rinku’s illustrious run of form in the 16th edition of the Indian Premier League, he appeared to bat in 14 matches that he played for Kolkata Knight Riders. In these appearances, he scored 474 runs with an outstanding average of 59.25 including four half-centuries and 6 unbeaten outings.
