Star Indian batter Rinku Singh is making his debut for India in the T20Is in the first T20I of the three-match series against Ireland. He was called up to the Indian squad after his heroics in the Indian Premier League 2023. Apart from that, Rinku is also a part of the Indian squad for the upcoming Asian Games 2023.

Speaking of Rinku’s illustrious run of form in the 16th edition of the Indian Premier League, he appeared to bat in 14 matches that he played for Kolkata Knight Riders. In these appearances, he scored 474 runs with an outstanding average of 59.25 including four half-centuries and 6 unbeaten outings.

Speaking of the current action of the ongoing first T20I between India and Ireland at the Malahide Cricket Stadium in Dublin, the visiting skipper Jasprit Bumrah won the toss and asked the hosts to bat first.
