It was another heart-breaking night for the Royal Challengers Bangalore and their fans in the Indian Premier League. The men in red and gold got knocked out of the tournament once again and missed the chance of winning of trophy yet another time in the 16th season of the tournament. Although, the fans of the franchise seemed to be loyal to the team and they supported the team alongside former skipper and batting superstar Virat Kohli.
Meanwhile, the former England batting great, Kevin Pietersen came up with a suggestion for Virat Kohli and felt that the latter should switch the franchise from the next year’s edition of the Indian Premier League.
Pietersen suggested that Kohli should move to Delhi Capitals from RCB in next year’s edition of the tournament.
“Time for VIRAT to make the move to the capital city…!” wrote Pietersen in a tweet from his official Twitter handle.
Here's a look at Kevin Pietersen's tweet for Virat Kohli:
Time for VIRAT to make the move to the capital city…! #IPL

Although a lot of Virat Kohli and RCB fans disagreed with this suggestion from the former England star. They immediately took to the reply section of KP’s tweet and came up with a lot of reactions and responses. The fans also felt that Kohli isn’t the kind of player who will ever switch the franchise just for the sake of winning the trophy in the tournament.
Here’s how fans reacted:
Virat is RCB and RCB is Virat. Loyalty can't be bought, KP.

Virat Kohli always be mine favourite, doesn't matter he has IPL trophy or not. Matter is what Virat always gave his best for the team.🤞💪
Notably, Virat Kohli smashed an amazing century in the last league match against Gujarat Titans at the home ground of Bengaluru, M Chinnaswamy Stadium. The 34-year-old scored 101 runs off just 61 balls with 13 boundaries and a six to his name. But unfortunately, his brilliant century ended up in a losing cause and went in vain Young Shubman Gill guided Gujarat Titans to a comprehensive win with an outstanding knock of 104 runs off just 52 balls including five fours and eight sixes with the wood.
Eventually, Gujarat Titans won the match by six wickets and Gill won the ‘Player of the Match award for his math-defining heroics.
