During the last football summer, Martin Braithwaite had a fallout with his former club, Barcelona. The reason for his fallout with a top Spanish club due to his reluctance to leave the team. After a while, he decided to terminate the contract with Xavi Hernandez’s side. Currently, he is playing for Espanyol which is the rival of the Camp Nou team.

Meanwhile, Martin has praised his former teammate in Barcelona, Ousmane Dembele. The former started by saying that Dembele is a good player and a huge talent. The Espanyol forward went on to claim that Dembele is a great talent after Argentina legend Lionel Messi. Braithwaite added to his claim that he hasn't seen a player like Dembele.

“Dembele is very good. I like him a lot. He has a huge talent. I have never seen someone with his talent. I’m serious. Leo Messi is something else, but after him, I haven’t seen any player like Dembele. The boy is special,” Martin Braithwaite while Speaking in an interview on Cat Radio’s Tot Costa program.

Furthermore, Braithwaite has also claimed that Dembele is better than Robert Lewandowski. The latter joined Barcelona only recently and had scored his first two goals for his new club on his birthday last month. Meanwhile, Martin claims that Dembele's individual talent has more impact than a player like Lewandowski. However, the former Barcelona player also praised Robert by saying that he scores a lot of goals and wished him luck for the season.

“Dembele individual talent has more impact than that of a player like Lewandowski, individually speaking. Ousmane is incredible. A good player and a good person.”

“Lewandowski scores a lot of goals, I am happy for him, he is a great professional. I wish him all the luck so that he has a very good season, but now I am looking to win at Espanyol,” he said.
