Star Australian all-rounder Marcus Stoinis has made a big statement for the former Indian skipper and the modern-day batting great, Virat Kohli. Stoinis was in conversation with Boria Majumdar during the show ‘Backstage with Boria’ on RevSportz. He lauded Kohli for making an impact in the big games of the major international tournaments.

The Aussie star also praised Kohli for coming out with the best version of himself whenever his team needs it. Notably, Stoinis has played a lot of cricket against Kohli in the Indian Premier League and with Australia against India.

"He has figured out what his best version is in terms of performance, and it seems like he can channel that and bring that energy every single game. Yes, at times, that might mean it's picking a fight or getting the crowd on his side, but it's very clear to me that he understands himself, he understands what his best version is,” said Stoinis to RevSportz.
