Mohammed Kaif makes big statement about Suryakumar Yadav amid batter's series of failures

The star Indian batting sensation and World number one T20I batter Suryakumar Yadav is currently enduring a lean patch with the bat. The Mumbai batter has gone back to the pavilion on duck four times out of the last six appearances including both the ODI series against Australia and the ongoing Indian Premier League as well.

Meanwhile, the former Indian batter Mohammed Kaif has come up and taken the step ahead while rescuing Suryakumar Yadav from the criticism. Kaif felt that SKY should be given chances even after more than 10 ducks.

"Even if Suryakumar Yadav makes 12 ducks, then it's forgivable. He is the kind of player who can still be given a chance. It doesn't matter,” said Kaif to Sportskeeda.

"What he did in England and New Zealand, makes the bowlers scared while bowling against him. So, four ducks are nothing for him,” he added later.

Wasim Akram also echoed what Mohammed Kaif opined for Suryakumar Yadav

Meanwhile, the former legendary Pakistan pacer Wasim Akram also shared his thought while being supportive of out-of-form Suryakumar Yadav.

"Look, he (Suryakumar Yadav) is a great player and everyone is aware of it. A batsman cannot be out of form because if you are out of form then you tend to defend the first two deliveries and don't go after hitting. With Suryakumar, the form is temporary and class is permanent. I understand he faced problems in the One-Days but no worries as the batsman goes through such a phase,” said Akram.

"Here, the team management will have to back him and tell him you are our match-winner. I am sure that guy has the ability to win the game on his own and will win one game which will look like an unbelievable performance,” he added later.
