Jofra Archer played his last international game before sustaining an injury in a T20I against India in March 2021 and since then, the player has been out of the radar on the back of his surgeries and back stress fracture earlier this year.
As things stand, a video is now taking the internet by storm and Archer, who was out of the action for a long time, can be seen sweating it hard in the nets. For the unversed, the English pace bowler will play for the Mumbai franchise in 2023 and the fans went crazy over the same claiming that the franchise would be the side to defeat in the upcoming edition of the Indian T20 League.

Can Mumbai turn things around?
As things stand, Mumbai will be the side to beat in the upcoming edition as they have one of the best pace attacks amongst all other teams. Further, the Rohit Sharma-led team went on to rope in Jason Behrendorff from the Bangalore franchise, making the best use of the trade window.
With the likes of Jasprit Bumrah and Archer already in the squad, the inclusion of the Australian pacer made the Mumbai side, the balanced one of all as well. Kieron Pollard, the allrounder who announced his retirement from the league, would hope to get off to a good start with his stint as the batting coach of the team.
Rohit and his men ended up in 10th place in the previous edition of the T20 extravaganza and the team would look to turn things around from the 2022 edition. To add more to Mumbaiโs squad, with Tim David, Ishan Kishan, Tristan Stubbs and Dewald Brevis in the side, their batting looks more dangerous than ever. If at all their skipper manages to fire in the league, Rohit and Suryakumar Yadav can cause more damage in the middle order, making things extremely tough for the opponent teams and Tilak Varma, the young allrounder can back it up in both departments.
As things stand, let us take a look at a few Twitter reactions to Jofra Archerโs return:
